The Farm of Pietrafitta is also a wine company, that extends for 300 hectars on hills of San Gimignano and has 40 hectars of vineyards and 20 hectars of olives.
Our passion for natural products is combined with the carefulness to our guests, therefore we like to suggest our wines.
Rare wines as Vernaccia of San Gimignano and Chianti Colli Senesi are products of our vineyard and they have been the first Italian wines to be awarded DOC in 1966.
Our production is enriched by red wine of San Gimignano DOC, the rosè and the precious Vinsanto DOC.
To preserve excellence, Pietrafitta chose, from the grape harvest of 2008-2009, to commit oneself to the wine-maker Mario Ercolino and the designer Simonetta Doni: the result is a renewal of the vineyard with the recovery of the old wine cellar, dated by XVI century.
The harmonic packaging, balanced to the beauty of wines is part of this process, to offer always the highest level selection.
